The Snatch

Today’s skill is the snatch. They say that it is the most complex movement in all of sport. It requires the perfect combination of strength, speed, power, coordination, and flexibility. Even top lifters describe it as a b*tch.

When done correctly, it looks incredibly graceful.

I know that learning the snatch can be frustrating. But I promise you that I see constant progress. Besides getting stronger and faster, you’re starting to hit the proper positions more consistently. Your mobility is improving. You’re getting more confident. Keep up the diligent work with a growth mindset, and you are sure to hit some strong pr’s.
