In 2011, I started to get serious about learning the Olympic lifts. Back then, there really wasn’t much out there in the way of instruction. You had to go find an Olympic lifting specialist (few and far between). Other than that, we were all kind of fumbling our way through it.
Then, a lifting gym in California started to build a following on YouTube. I watched all of their videos and tried to mimic their technique. The gym is Cal Strength, and much of my lifting knowledge came from watching these videos from Coach Glenn Pendlay.
