Weightlifting classes focus on improving the snatch and clean and jerk. Neil Jones, USAW Club Coach, will guide athletes through lifts to increase strength, speed, and efficiency. Classes will consist of variations of the snatch, clean, jerk, squat, deadlift, and press.
This class is offered to give athletes adequate time to work on these lifts, which are the most complex movements performed in CrossFit. By increasing the amount participants can safely snatch, clean, and jerk, their work output during CrossFit workouts is increased.
This class is open to athletes of any skill level. Whether your goal is to become a competitive Olympic Weightlifter or just be better at Crossfit, this class is for you!
