So, how are you doing on your food journal? Don’t tell me that you forgot!!! Doh! Well, at least we caught it in time. I’m sure you can recall how your day has gone so far.
Or maybe you think that a food journal is silly and won’t help. Well, this article would disagree.
In fact, a researcher from one recent study says that people keeping a food diary six days a week lost about twice as much weight as those who kept food records one day a week or less. For the six-month study, published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, dieters kept food diaries, attended weekly group support meetings, and were encouraged to eat a healthy diet and be active.
Seems pretty powerful, if you ask me. Give it a try and thank me later.
Fight Gone Bad
Who is getting excited for Friday Night Fights?!?!?! I sure am! Fight Gone Bad is one of those workouts that I just love to hate. Or maybe I hate to love. Either way, I’m always excited to do it and this year’s format makes it even more fun! If you end up paired with me, I will go ahead and apologize for my wall balls. T-rex hates wall balls, and even he has a better wingspan than me.
Finally, I want to clarify that the Rx weight for women will be 55 lbs. I have seen it both ways, but I hear that 55 is the Kirkwood standard, so that’s it! Don’t forget to sign up in MindBody!
