I have to admit – the new year kind of snuck up on me. I feel totally unprepared. I’ve heard talk of a group doing Whole 30 – that piques my interest. I’m vaguely interested in making some fitness-based New Year’s resolutions.
- Squat more than Noel.
- Overhead squat better than Brett.
Oh. I guess I can check that second one off the list.
It may sound cliche, but I totally embrace the New Year. I love seeing more people in the gym – with a new sense of determination to really make it stick this year. And, honestly, I believe you can make it stick. I think this is the year that you find a nutrition plan that works, a workout routine that keeps you healthy, and inspiration to always see the positive.
Did you gain 10 lbs in 2014? Lose it. Did you fall short of your strength goals? Time to start fresh. The New Year has the power to be a definitive point in time. Not just some Monday or the 1st of the month. A whole new year. Three hundred and sixty-five days to improve your life and your self. How will you use them?
