So, Noel has had a pretty impressive week. Last weekend, Noel was in Baltimore for the GRID Pro Day, and he CRUSHED IT! So much so that he has been made it to the next level. The GRID combine, where teams will take an even closer look at athletes to potentially draft. Many of you have asked, “What is GRID? Is it CrossFit?” Not exactly. From their website:
Grid is the world’s first professional spectator sport with two co-ed teams racing head-to-head in a two-hour match. It incorporates speed, skill and strategy in a test of endurance through a variety of weightlifting and body-weight elements.
No wonder Noel is such a hot commodity in this new sport. And, as if that wasn’t enough, Noel put together a great performance on 15.2 to keep him in 18th place in the North Central Region! One rep shy of CrossFit (and Grid) phenom Sam Dancer, Noel is definitely making a statement in this year’s Open. Finger’s crossed for an exciting 15.3!
