I have some homework for you. “Ugh….” I know, I know. But this isn’t going to be hard. And it just may change the way you think about fitness.
Recently, I’ve had a slew of injuries. Nothing major. Just a tweak here. A strain there. But each little injury adds up to a lot of time off. And that is, of course, detrimental to our fitness.
So, I took some time to really think about my weaknesses. Here’s what I came up with:
T-Spine Mobility – Terrible
Shoulder and Hamstring Flexibility – D+
Back/Shoulder Stability – Laughable
Maybe these aren’t as bad as I think, but they are definitely keeping me on the sidelines more than I’d like. So, I’m going to do something about it. Every day, I’m going to do corrective exercises to fill in these holes. More time in the gym. More awesome PRs.
So, your homework is to think about your weaknesses. Not that you need to work on double unders or you want a bigger back squat. What things are constantly nagging you? Neck pain? Lower back pain? Knee pain? Think about it. And we’ll come up with some solutions.
