Yes, I do want you to actually eat your veggies. BUT, this is about an article I saw on breaking muscle this week. This article from Breaking Muscle showed up in my feed this week. While I’m not 100% on board with the article, it does articulate one thing. That humans are meant to run and that running is good for you. I’m not saying that the long slow distance prescription is the answer. But trail runs and interval runs and hill runs and running in general is just built into our nature. Years ago, I read Born to Run and it revitalized my interest in running. Reading this article did the same. Even if it’s not in the programming for the week, make it a point to go out and run a bit.
