Something New

This is going to be controversial. It’s something I’ve never done before. I have many compelling reasons for doing it, but I feel like I should stop burying the lead. This is happening. This is about to happen. It’s historic in a way. Are you ready?

Yep. You read that correctly. I’m giving you the ENTIRE WEEK’s programming. Veterans will remember when you only learned the workout when you showed up at the gym (or when your buddy texted you from an earlier class). Then, I decided that I wanted you to know the workout the night before. Why? Becuase I want to know the workout before I walk into the gym. Some people like to keep the workouts unknown and unknowable. One argument is that this is the best way to develop “elite fitness”. But here’s the deal. You are all adults. Yep, even Brett. But really, you’re all adults. And I’m not here to treat you like children. I want you to have as much information as possible. Do I think that this MAY lead to someone skipping class because they don’t like a workout? I do. It will happen. And, frankly, I don’t care. If you miss a workout, you’re only cheating yourself. And, do you know what? You’re still going to be fit. Maybe you’ll never master the snatch, but you’re still going to be fit.

If you’re anything like me, you have 1,583 things going on in your life. You’re all CrossFitters, but you may also be a runner, a weightlifter, a parent, or a fiddler. If having the programming helps you plan your week better, I want to help.
