Week of 1/22

The Biggest Loser competition has begun! Team Brooke vs Team Jeff!

We’ll spend the next 8 weeks focusing on healthy eating habits and consistent exercise. Today, we’re just going to start simple.

Eating – Stop eating like a jackass. Yep. That’s it. We’ll get into paleo and macros and all that stuff, but let’s start here. Are you about to have 3 donuts and an Irish coffee for breakfast? That’s jackass behavior. Pizza and beer for lunch? #jackass. Fried chicken, french fries, and ice cream for dinner? Come on, now. Every time you’re about to eat, think to yourself, “Am I eating like a jackass?” If so, abort mission and try again.

Exercise – Exercise more. Clearly, this comes with some caveats. If you’re only making it 1 or 2 times/week, let’s shoot for 3 or 4. It can be CrossFit, running, yoga, Zumba, or whatever. Just do it! Make sure to increase your stretching and mobility work to stay healthy.
